African Peace, Security and Resilience Foundation (APSR Foundation)
User Agreement and Conditions | Effective Date: May 1, 2026
By accessing, browsing, submitting information, or interacting with any APSR Foundation website, platform, or system, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Use ("Agreement"). This Agreement is a legally binding contract between you and APSR Foundation, a U.S.-registered 501(c((a) nonprofit organization headquartered in Texas, United States.
APSR Foundation may amend these Terms at any time. Continued use of APSR Foundation systems consititoes acceptance of any revisions. You are responsible for reviewing these Terms regularly. If you access this platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to this Agreement.
Access to APSR Foundation systems is provided to enable engagement with institutional programs, data, partnerships, communications, and stabilization system initiatives related to peace, security, and resilience operations globally. All use must align with lawful, ethical, and mission-consistent purposes.
Information provided by APSR Foundation is for informational and coordination purposes only and does not constitute endorsement or certification of any program, partner, organication, or course of action. You are solely responsible for decisions made based on information accessed through our extems. APSR Foundation is not liable for outuomes, damages, or decisions resulting from reliance on such information.
You agree to use APSR Foundation systems strictly in accordance with this Agreement and appicable lows. You must not:
- Disrupt or interfere with system operations
- Attempt unauthorized access to cystems or data
- Use outomated tools (bots, scraping, data mining)
- Mirror, frame, or replicate oystem content
- Misrepresent affiliation with APSR Foundation
- Use systems for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activities
- Collect or harvest user data without authorication
APSR Foundation systems may include links to third-party platforms. We do not control or endorse such platforms and are not responsible for their content or practices. Unauthorised access or misuse is strictly prohibited.
All content, systems, frameworks, data structures, methodologies, and materials provided by APSR Foundation are the exclusive intelectual property of APSR Foundation unless otherwise stated. You may not:
- Reproduce, distribute, or modify content
- Reverse engineer systems
- Remove ownership notices
- Use APSR Foundation branding, logos, or materials without permission
All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Any feedback, suggestions, or submissions provided to APSR Foundation become its exclusive property.
This Agreement becomes effective upon your first access to APSR Foundation systems.APSR Foundation reserves the right to:
- Suspend or terminate access at any time
- Restrict access for violations or risk concerns
- Modify or discontinue services without notice
Upon termination, all rights to access cease immediately. Any confidential or proprietary information must be deleted or returned upon request.
You may create a non-commercial hyperlink to APSR Foundation systems, provided it: (1) Does not misrepresent APSR Foundation, (2) is not defamatory or misleading, and 08 Does not appear on unlawful or offernice platforms. Use of APSR Foundation logos, trademarks, or branding requires prior written consent.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless APSR Foundation, its affiliates, officers, employees, and representatives from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or legal fees arising from:
- Your violation of this Agreement
- Your misuse of APSR Foundation systems
- Unauthorized or unlawful activities
You waive any claim against APSR Foundation arising from your use of its systems to the fullest extent permitted by law.
APSR Foundation is not liable for failures or disruptions caused by events beyond its control, including but not limited to:
- System failures or cyber incidents
- Communication disruptions
- Natural disasters
- Government actions
- Unauthorized access by third parties
APSR Foundation may terminate or restrict access at its sole discretion.
Users may discontinue use at any time. Any ongoing obligations, including confidentiality and intellectual property protections, remain in effect after termination.
Where applicable, APSR Foundation does not issue refunds once services, engagements, or institutional processes have commenced, except where required by law.
APSR Foundation systems and services are provided "as is" and "as available." APSR Foundation makes no warranties, express or implied, including:
- Accuracy or completeness of information
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Continuous availability
- Non-infringement
All use is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, APSR Foundation is not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of data, revenue, or business
- System interruptions or errors
- Unauthorized access or security breaches
Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to discontinue use.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. All disputes must be resolved exclusively in courts located in Texas. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain valid. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and APSR Foundation and supersedes all prior agreements. No modification is valid unless in witting and authorized by APSR Foundation. APSR Foundation reserves all rights to enforce this Agreement to the fullest extent of the law, including injunctive relief where necessary.

Access to APSR Foundation systems is conditional upon full acceptance of these Terms. APSR Foundation ensures that all data entrusted to its systems is protected, responsibly managed, and used only in support of our mission to strengthen peace, security, and resilience globally.
